Zach Craft – Habitat Project Coordinator – CA/Modoc NF

Zach grew up spending his days hunting and fishing in Western Montana. After high school he moved to Missoula to attend The University of Montana, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Natural Resource Conservation with a focus in natural resource policy and planning. There he was lucky enough to spend as many days out fly fishing the local rivers as he did in the classroom. He then began working in the field of recreation management for the US Forest Service in Lincoln, MT before moving to Northern California where he continued working in recreation for the Modoc National Forest. Zach is excited to apply his knowledge and passion of the outdoors to help improve the Mule Deer habitat in Northern California. In his free time Zach can be found hunting, fishing, and camping with his fiancée and dog.
