Trevor grew up in the Ozarks of Missouri hunting ducks, quail, and white tail. He enlisted in the US Army after high school in 2008 and remained in the Army until 2016. He got his undergrad degree from Eastern Illinois University while serving as an ROTC instructor. He went on to receive his graduate degree from the University of Notre Dame before working as a business consultant primarily in the sales and marketing operations field for various construction and outdoor brand clients. The past three years, Trevor has been managing the Armed Forces Initiative of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers focused on creating conservation advocates within the military community through access to public lands, waters and hunting and fishing. He started freelancing as a writer and photographer for a few outlets during Covid and has been published in two dozen magazines since.
