Rusty Wandler – Habitat Project Manager

Rusty Wandler – Habitat Project Manager

Rusty Wandler is a native Montanan raised in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. Rusty grew up hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. He chased elk, mule deer and whitetail deer around the mountains with his dad and family members. This is what sparked the love for the mountains and all the animals that roam them. Rusty and his wife of 24 years have three children, their son Ryder, and daughters Bella and Kelti. Rusty has enjoyed raising them to love the outdoors as well. Rusty was a ranch hand after high school then went on to work at a feed mill and for the last 23 years worked at Roseburg Forest Products. Rusty is excited about his position with the Mule Deer Foundation. It puts him right where he loves to be, in the mountains and helping with the conservation of our wildlife’s habitat.
