Jake was born in Northern California and then moved to Oregon in his early years. This is where he fell in love with wildlife and everything that has to do with it! He then moved to Texas at age 11 and resided there up until he moved to Arizona in January of 2024. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University in biology and his master’s degree in wildlife ecology from Texas State University. The focus of his master’s thesis was the foraging behaviors of white-tailed deer. Jake enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog Thor and watching football.
