Eric grew up in Helena Montana with a family that was heavily involved in the outdoors and conservation where his father was a Director of the Montana Wildlife Federation, numerous political positions and active with other non-profit organizations. Eric has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
His career path has been one of successful entrepreneurship and leadership along with a continuous passion for the outdoors. Eric loves to spend free time with his wife and two boys hunting, fishing and cycling the Black Hills and prairies of South Dakota where he now calls home. For the past 7 years Eric has been a seasonal big game guide in Montana and Wyoming while managing several hospitality venues including wild game culinary education. Eric looks forward to sharing his passion for the outdoors and growing the footprint of MDF in South Dakota, Nebraska and beyond.
