Demetrio was raised in western Texas where he has always been fascinated with the desert Mule Deer since he was a child hunting with his father. He has been a Texas Peace Officer since 1993 and recently retired as an Investigator for his county Prosecutor’s office.
Demetrio has always enjoyed the role of being a volunteer with such titles as Hunter Education Instructor for Texas Parks & Wildlife, Official Scorer for Texas Big Game Awards, CWD Certified Postmortem Sample Collector, Reg 2 and Reg 4 Texas District & County Attorney’s Association Board Member, Pecos County MDF Chapter Chair since 2013, M.U.L.E.Y. Coordinator, and Taxidermist. He likes to devote his time and knowledge to his future Conservationists…his two grandkids.
