MDF Conservation Program Associate – Mule Deer Foundation

The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) Conservation Program Associate (Program Associate) will be a valuable member of the MDF Conservation Team and report directly to the Senior Conservation Program Associate to assist with administration, accounting, oversight, program management, agreement and contract management, and program development support to MDF’s Conservation Program and specifically Keystone agreements with the US Forest Service. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the MDF Conservation Program staff in developing, implementing, and managing collaborative habitat and conservation projects primarily with the U.S. Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management, other land management agencies, state agencies, communities, conservation NGOs, and private sector partners when needed. The Program Associate position is to support strategic initiatives and long-term goals undertaken by MDF throughout the United States. The Program Associate will coordinate closely with MDF Financial Team and provide support and administrative duties for MDF Conservation Team activities.

Graphic Designer – Mule Deer Foundation/Blacktail Deer Foundation

The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) is seeking a detail-driven Graphic Designer to help tell the story of conservation through compelling digital and print design. You will be responsible for creating assets that mobilize supporters, elevate campaigns, and bring habitat projects to life across ads, email, social, web, events, and print.

We are looking for a creative who pairs strong visual craft (layout, typography, color) with hands-on production skills and fluency in digital advertising and email design. Experience editing short-form video (reels/stories) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Design engaging assets for digital and print: social and display ads, email templates, banner graphics, trade show/backdrops, brochures, flyers, signage, and event collateral.
  • Build print-ready files (brochure layouts, pamphlets, mailers) and manage specs/bleeds for commercial printers.
  • Design email templates and graphic packages for newsletters, welcome/engagement flows, and fundraising series (Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Produce digital ads optimized for Meta & Google placements, mindful of platform best practices.
  • Maintain and evolve brand consistency across all touch points.
