Conservation Efforts

Proven Impact. Real Results.

Dedicated to mule deer conservation since 1988, the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) has spent over three decades leading habitat restoration, migration corridor protection, and conservation partnerships across North America. The majority of our staff are trained biologists, wildlife managers, and conservation specialists, because restoring mule deer habitat requires real expertise and boots on the ground. We’re proud to say that 88 cents of every dollar donated goes directly into conservation efforts. From soil to summit, your support helps us get the work done where it matters most.

We’ve benefited over 1,000 miles of fencing and 3 million acres and put over 275 million dollars back into the soil. Science-driven. Mission-focused.
