Two Coveted Wyoming Governor’s Hunting Licenses to be auctioned
The Mule Deer Foundation is excited to offer two highly desired Wyoming Governor’s hunting licenses; 2022 Wyoming Deer/Elk/Antelope and a 2022 Wyoming Governor’s Moose License.
A phone/text bid auctions for these Wyoming Governor’s Hunting Licenses will be held on the evening of Thursday, May 5, 2022. Bidder registration for the auction will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (MDT) by email to shawn@muledeer.org or phone/text (307)247-0246. Proxy bids will be accepted from May 1 until 5:00 p.m. on May 5, 2022 via email to shawn@muledeer.org, if you are unable to attend via phone and/or text.
• First license up in the auction will be a 2022 Wyoming Governor’s Deer/Elk/Antelope License, which will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (MDT).
• Second license up in the auction will be a 2022 Wyoming Governor’s Moose License, which will be held from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (MDT).
Information on the Auction:
Phone and/or text bids will be taken by Shawn Blajszczak (and other MDF staff) at 307-247-0246.
Bidding will start at $30,000.00 for each license (sold individually) and subsequent bids are required to be a minimum of $500.00 increments. Bids will continue to be taken after deadline (7:30 and 8:30 p.m. (MDT) for deer/elk/antelope and moose respectively) until there are no bids within approximately 2 minutes of the previous bid. Once the are no more bids a winner will be declared.
Proceeds from the sale of these Wyoming Governor’s Hunting Licenses will be utilized as follows: 90% to the Wyoming Governor’s Big Game License Coalition and 10% to Mule Deer Foundation.
