The Mule Deer Foundation is excited to offer the 2022 California Grizzly Island Elk Tag (any legal weapon) at its Shasta/Lassen Chapter Banquet in Redding, CA on May 14, 2022. This coveted tag will be auctioned during the chapter banquet and phone bids will be accepted.
All tag and license fees are included in the sale price. This tag may only be used by the purchaser or a licensed hunter to whom the purchaser designates. Purchaser does not need to be a resident of the state of California.T his tag is subject to all existing conditions required for the take of elk in California.
The California Grizzly Island Elk Tag is valid on Grizzly Island Wildlife Area for one bull elk. The season shall open on the first Saturday in August and continue for 30 consecutive days. Advance reservations are required by contacting the Grizzly Island Wildlife Area by telephone at (707) 425-3828.
