Donald Pelfrey – Regional Director – AZ & Southern NV
Donald grew up in Wellton, AZ with a large and extended family. They took every opportunity they had to hunt, fish, camp and participate in conservation. Donald has been a volunteer with the AZ Game & Fish Department for over 20 years. He has designed and implemented countless deer catchment systems for our canals. He’s saved the lives of over 1000 mule deer, along with several Sonoran prong horn, big horn sheep and elk. He’s even performed CPR on 2 of the deer.
Donald’s career path has branched into many different areas. He became the leading expert on the canal & water systems in Yuma County. He was a volunteer fire fighter for 23 years. He’s also a successful entrepreneur. He became the Yuma County Chairman for the Mule Deer Foundation in 2020. With the support of his wife and 7 children, Donald looks forward to expanding the reach of the MDF in Arizona and Southern Nevada.
