Cheyenne grew up in rural Southern California where her childhood was spent exploring the ocean and chaparral ecosystems fostering a deep passion for nature and the species that call it home. She graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt with a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation and Management. Over the past 10 years, Cheyenne has worked with multiple federal and private agencies where she developed a diverse background in threatened and endangered species conservation, habitat improvement, and public outreach and education. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog camping, horseback riding, fishing, and paddleboarding. Cheyenne is excited to gain new experiences with the Mule Deer Foundation to ensure healthy habitats and populations of this iconic species.
