Ray grew up on a small farm in Roosevelt, Utah. After graduating high school, Ray went to college for a degree in CAD drafting, which helped start his career as the Graphics Engineer for White Rifles, a muzzleloading rifle maker, later graduating to the role of General Manager. In 2000, Ray accepted an offer from Austin & Halleck, another muzzleloader manufacturer in Provo, Utah as General Manager. In 2006, Ray began his career with the Mule Deer Foundation as Director of Merchandise and was later promoted to Director of Marketing and Merchandise, handling banquet merchandise and ad sales for MDF magazine. Since its inception, Ray has had his hand in the managing the Western Hunting & Conservation Expo, and currently as Director of WHCE he handles the general operations of putting on the best trade show in the west!
