A WEEKEND OF GREAT PLAINS MULE DEER HIGHLIGHT!
RAPID CITY SD – SEPTEMBER 25, 26, AND 27TH
Why You Should Want to Attend:
The Mule Deer Foundation is excited to announce a weekend full of Mule Deer centric activities in Rapid City. We have Beer tastings, kick off parties, the premiere of never-before-seen hunting films by Meat Eater, Leupold, and others, followed by a fabulous dinner with wine pairings at Delmonico Grill.
You don’t want to miss this opportunity to celebrate the Mule Deer Foundation and contribute to the bright future of Mule Deer on the Great Plains. We have dozens of amazing prizes designed to get you out in the field making the most of this hunting season.
What is it:
The weekend starts with a release of an incredible Mule Deer beer. This is the first of its kind produced as a collaboration between MDF & Lost Cabin Brewing using regionally sourced mule deer forage, grains, hops, and fruit. We are hosting anyone who wants the first taste of this incredible beer at a kickoff party. Wednesday September 25th at Lost Cabin Brewing, Omaha Street, Rapid City SD 5-9pm.
Don’t forget this is the last night to get your statewide raffle tickets with over 40 prizes.
Thursday September the 26th the event of the day is the Mule Deer hunting movie premier. Before the films roll, we have a whiskey for wildlife and pizza party fundraising pre-happy hour at independent ale & the Windsor Block at 527 St Joseph Street, Rapid City South Dakota.
We are premiering never seem films highlighting Mule Deer and Blacktail deer across the country. Big names like Ryan Callaghan of Meat-Eater hunting Mule Deer in the great Plains and an MDF / Leupold collaborative film on the illusive Blacktail are first. Wrapping up the film night is an exciting new project the Mule Deer foundation is proud to support but whose details we can’t give away, you’ll just have to be there to see it.
Wrapping up this weekend Friday the 27th, is a Wine for Wildlife dinner at the Delmonico Grill from 6-8 p.m. We have door prizes, auction a 6 course wild foods and wines dinner and cocktail pairing. 50% of the funding from this dinner all goes back into Mule Deer habitat in the Great Plains.
