Growing up in the Chicagoland area, Abby loved spending the summers camping with her family, visiting national parks, and hiking. Her love for nature only grew as she pursued her B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Science at Purdue University. For the past 4 years, she has worked for environmental restoration companies, the Indiana DNR, and a conservation nonprofit, focusing on strengthening and rebuilding valuable wetland, prairie, and forest ecosystems throughout the Midwest. Since moving to Arizona, Abby has enjoyed exploring all the new plants, wildlife, and outdoor activities here. She is excited to bring her experience and passion for the environment and conservation to Mule Deer Foundation!
