Chris was born and raised in Northern Utah, where she developed a lifelong love for the outdoors. From an early age, she spent time in the mountains with her family horseback riding, fishing, camping, and hunting- experiences that shaped her deep appreciation for the land and the importance of conservation. She has always loved adventures, the outdoors is her favorite place to be she enjoys hiking and hunting with her family. She is happiest on the back of her horse Green, with her dog Maize tagging along. She also enjoys exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, often traveling down less traveled roads in search of ghost towns, historic relics, antiques and hidden treasures with her husband.

As the oldest of four girls, Chris was raised with strong values instilled by her parents: that she could do hard things, to work hard, to stand up for what she believes in, and never shy away from a challenge. Those ,lessons continue to guide her both personally and professionally.

Chris carried these traditions forward while raising her own family, sharing her passion for the outdoors with her children. She has been  blessed with 4 children 2 boys 2 girls, added two daughter in laws, a son in law, and the best part, 12 amazing grandbabies who make her life grand.
