At the Mule Deer Foundation, we believe that conservation is a collective effort. Our habitat projects often require many extra hands to achieve our goals, and that’s where our dedicated chapters and MDF volunteers come in. By joining our projects, you have the opportunity to directly contribute to the preservation and enhancement of mule deer habitats.

Get Involved in Conservation Projects

Our volunteers get on the ground to help with various essential tasks, including:

    • Guzzler Projects

      Installing water collection systems to provide reliable water sources for wildlife.

    • Planting Shrubs

      Enhancing habitats by planting native vegetation.

    • Fighting Invasive Weeds

      Removing harmful invasive species to restore natural ecosystems.

    These volunteer work projects are a fantastic opportunity to invest sweat equity into conservation efforts that directly benefit mule deer.
