Mule Deer Foundation hires Shari Roberts as Director of Business Development.

Shari Roberts grew up in central New Jersey, playing sports, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling to upstate New York with her family where they spent most weekends fishing, hiking, skiing, camping, amongst other activities, which is where she began to crave the fresh air and nature’s beauty.

Attending college at the University of Maryland, participating in Division I cross-country, Indoor Track & Field, Outdoor Track & Field, brought her to reside in Maryland post-college, where she met her current husband, and began her next chapter in life. Shari and her husband have 2 children, and enjoy giving them the same experiences they both had growing up. They all enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, exploring, community service projects, skiing, and being involved in community activities.

A favorite Roberts family tradition is tent camping at Assateague Island State Park in Maryland each summer, where the horses run wild, the ocean waves are loud, and the wind is constantly swirling.  After spending over 14 years at Under Armour, Inc., in various North America marketing and marketing operational roles, Shari is excited to be part of the Mule Deer Foundation family, and be part of an organization that is impactful, and shaping the future of the Mule deer and black-tailed deer and their habitats.

Good Luck Shari!
