All digital photography needs to be submitted in the full-resolution and unprocessed state. By unprocessed, we simply mean no cropping, no color-correcting, especially no down-sizing, no altering of the photo in any way. Basically, from the camera to us, as it was taken.
Send high-resolution images via e-mail or on a CD or DVD. Photos may also be posted to an FTP site or via “We Transfer”
Be sure to include name(s), date, location and other important information about the photo. If necessary, you are responsible for obtaining permission to publish from the people who appear in your photos.
We will assume CDs need not be returned, unless otherwise indicated. If you would like your submission returned, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with enough postage to return. We cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
Mule Deer Foundation pays for some, but not all, of the material published depending on need, nature, and quality of the submission.
