Merchandise Coordinator
Full-time or Part-time: Full Time
Location: Remote with preference for Western United States
Reports To: Merchandise Manager
Salary/Benefits: $50,000 – $55,000, DOE. Includes Comprehensive Benefit Package, Paid Time Off, and 401K.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) has an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing non-profit conservation organization. A 501(c)3 non-profit, MDF’s mission is to ensure the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer, and their habitat. We accomplish our mission through local grassroots volunteers, dedicated staff, and partnerships with other conservation organizations and state and federal agencies. Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, the Merchandise Coordinator will play a pivotal role in growing MDF’s fundraising merchandise program. Major responsibilities include monitoring chapter order flow, assisting fundraising staff with merchandise related questions, as well as monitoring and maintaining the MDF fundraising merchandise catalog of products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manage the MDF Chapter Portal by keeping product information up to date, monitoring order flow, and assisting Regional Directors and chapters with order questions
- Maintain the processing of orders with vendor direct and logistics partners
- Monitor inventory within WMS for both event and ecommerce merchandise
- Responsible for setup, support, and maintenance of items in NetSuite, Chapter Portal, and WMS including SKU, UPC, and ASN
- Assist Merchandise Manager with identifying trends related to product usage
- Represent the Merchandise Department in meetings both internal and external in a professional manner
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including TEAMS
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a remote setting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- NetSuite experience
- Knowledge of WMS and CRM applications
- Account management and/or inventory management experience
- Basic knowledge of ecommerce operations and platforms
- Strong customer service background
- Previous experience working with a non-profit organization
- Some knowledge of the conservation industry
