The Mule Deer Foundation is a leading conservation organization dedicated to the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer, and their habitats. We ensure a sustainable future for these species through research, advocacy, education, and partnerships.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Creative Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team. The Creative Coordinator will play a critical role in shaping the visual elements of our brand, ensuring consistency across all channels, and helping to create compelling content that drives our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications to develop and implement creative strategies that promote our mission, raise awareness, and engage our various stakeholders.
- Coordinate, produce, and edit various types of content, including digital and print materials, social media content, website design and management, presentations, magazine content, and videos.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Assist in managing creative projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide design support for events, campaigns, and other initiatives as needed.
- Stay current on industry trends, conservation issues, and advancements in creative tools and software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field or 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the outdoor industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar software.
- Strong WordPress proficiency
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Passion for conservation and the mission of the Mule Deer Foundation.
