Salt Lake City, Utah: The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF), one of the most rapidly growing hunting organizations in the country, is actively seeking applications for its regional director position in the state of Arizona. Individuals with strong fundraising, organization and interpersonal skills as well as a passion for mule deer conservation are encouraged to apply.
“MDF’s regional directors are the primary face of the organization interacting with our chapters and our members. This is an important position based in Arizona, one of the key states for mule deer conservation right now,” said Miles Moretti, MDF’s President/CEO. “We are looking for someone who works well with people to coordinate chapter banquets, on-the-ground habitat projects and to interact with the other sportsmen’s organizations in the state.”
The Arizona Regional Director will work closely with the state’s existing chapters and seek to establish new chapters and develop volunteer leaders. Primarily a fundraising position, the regional director will play an integral role in helping chapters organize their banquets, youth activities, and conservation efforts. The Regional Director also will be the primary point of contact with the state game and fish department and other conservation organizations and will need to share MDF’s state conservation work with the local media and in MDF’s publications.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for a person who wants to make a difference for mule deer,” Moretti continued. “All of our Regional Directors are energetic and passionate about making a difference for hunters and our wildlife resources. I’m excited to hire someone who will hit the ground running and lead our efforts in Arizona.”
